Ben Leff graduated from Uni High in 2001, earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in history from Brown University, and returned to teach at Uni in 2012.  He currently teaches Junior US History, Thinking Like a Social Scientist, and American History Through Popular Culture. Additionally, Ben leads the annual weeklong student service trip to Clarksdale, Mississippi which started by former Uni history teacher Bill Sutton. He is also a three-time winner of the Ella Leppert Award for Excellence in Teaching, an honor bestowed each year by Uni’s senior class.
