Senior Picture David Broadbent

David N. Broadbent was a member of the graduating Class of 1956. In his time at Uni, Broadbent was involved with many Uni-related extracurriculars, including Class Treasurer, a member of the theatre cast, Unique Club, and Science Club. In addition, Broadbent was a member of the choir and boys’ ensemble, performing in the county music festival and making all-state chorus. After graduating from Uni, Broadbent received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois and then a Doctor of Medicine from Duke University Medical School. Broadbent then became a pediatrician, working to improve the lives of his patients. He also was the Founder and Chair of the Rochester Coalition to Prevent Lead Poisoning and member of both the New York State Governor's Advisory Council on Childhood Lead Poisoning and the New York State Coalition to End Lead Poisoning.

Hobbies

Broadbent was an active member in his church. He taught Sunday School, led youth programs, played the organ, and served in both the temple and in the family history center

Personal Life

Broadbent has four kids, Catherine, David, and Sara, as well as four grandchildren.
