With the start of the school year, volleyball season is upon us. Hoping to follow the success of last years team, which finished with 19 total wins, the 2012 team is gearing up for another season of Uni High Volleyball .

For Uni's second annual Volley for the Cure event, the Uni High Girls Volleyball team will be playing against Arthur Okaw Christian. Both the junior varsity and varsity teams will play at Kenney Gym on Thursday, October 6.

Many in the Uni community have worked together to plan Volley for a Cure, an event including two great volleyball games, pizza, the chance of pie-ing a teacher in the face, and more, during National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. All proceeds go to Susan G. Komen For The Cure, a group that funds cancer research. Check inside for more, and go pink!
