  • Uni clinched a win over Mattoon by outscoring them 2-1
  • Uni trailed 0-1 in the first half, but late in the second half, sophomore Mara Dolan scored off a direct kick on the goal, tying up the score 1-1
  • A minute later, junior Sarah Vaughen scored Uni's second goal off an assist from senior Abby Radnitzer
  • A tribute to Uni's defense: Mattoon was only allowed three shots on the goal, all of which were in the first half
  • Varsity record: 7-6-2 overall, 3-1 ECIC
  • JV tied with Mattoon's JV team 1-1
  • All the scoring for both teams was done in the first half. Mattoon scored a goal in the opening minutes of the game, but Uni retaliated with a goal over halfway through the first half.
  • Uni's goal came from freshman Maya Dutta. The assist was supplied by sophomore Jia Curry-Bild
