  • From head coach Jeff Blue's game report: "Uni High pulled off a good win in the regional game tonight vs. Hoopeston Area. Uni had three players in double figures on the night led by Jamie Blue with 19, Rachel Harmon with 15, and Michelle Wong with 10. Rachel Harmon complimented her scoring with 14 rebounds for a double double. Jamie Blue led the team in assists with 6 and steals with 8. Michelle Wong was credited with 7 steals and also forced another 6 turnovers with her aggressive defense. Uni led by 18 at half time, but Hoopeston made a run to cut it to 11 in the third quarter. Uni was not to be denied the win and kept up the relentless pressure to win the fourth quarter 10 to 7. Uni High will play St. Thomas More in the semifinals of the regional tournament."
