  • Advancement to sectionals: Top five teams and top five individuals from nonadvancing teams at this regional qualified for Decatur St. Teresa sectional
  • Advancement to state finals: Top five teams and top seven individuals from nonadvancing teams at Decatur St. Teresa sectional will go to state

  • Uni Boys: Despite missing No. 2 runner Nathan Smith due to illness, Uni repeated as Class 1A regional champions, defeating rival St. Joseph-Ogden by 12 points.
  • Six Illineks placed in the top 20: Albert Anastasio (2nd, 16:49), Buck Walsh (3rd, 17:06), Langston Allston-Yeagle (9th, 17:42), Andrew Weatherhead (11th, 17:48), Iain Konigsberg (15th, 18:01), Ziran Shang (19th, 18:09).

  • Uni Girls: The team advanced to sectionals by placing fourth overall.
  • Three Illineks placed in the top 20: Elizabeth Russell (10th, 20:57), Sarah Vaughen (16th, 21:30), and Emma Coverdill (20th, 21:55).
