  • The Illineks started off this week at the Clinton Quad Meet (3 mile course)
  • The boys (21 pts.) won their 4th meet of the season. The girls (45 pts.) had a great meet finishing 2nd.
  • The meet was against St. Thomas More, Tolono and Clinton
  • Junior Albert Anastasio (17:08) won the race overall with a close second finish by senior Nathan Smith (17:09)
  • The boys had a superb meet with 7 Uni runners in the top 10
  • The girls fell short behind St. Thomas More (28 pts.)
  • Senior Elizabeth Russell (21:26) and freshman Sarah Vaughen (21:27) finished 3rd and 4th, respectively
  • Freshman Theresa Welle (20:52) of St. Thomas More finished 1st in the girls race
