Two nights after Kenney Gym was packed for the Coaches versus Cancer games, faculty and students returned to celebrate the contribution of three senior girls to Uni High girls basketball.

Seniors Jamie Blue, Abigail Radnitzer, and Sarah Sutter have all played basketball since they were subbies. They were the last class to play in Uni Gym before its remodel and played on the first subbie girls basketball team to win a regional game.

The seniors in the Class of 2012 continued to make girls basketball history by tying the school record for wins in a season on their senior night, a record which they have since broken.

The Jan. 25 game against Heritage High School ended in a 63-31 win for Uni and tied the school record of 19 wins in a season set last year and in 1986.
