URBANA — On November 13, Uni's swim team competed at the IHSA sectionals. Overall, Uni placed seventh with a score of 92. Without any Platy π winning an event or making the state-qualifying time, no Uni swimmers advanced to the state team.

Finally, in the 100 Yard Breaststroke Curry-Bild finished eight with a time of 1:16.00, and Michael followed in tenth place, with a time of 1:16.38.
Despite the lack of state-qualifiers, the Platy π had an impressive showing, setting high standards for the following seasons. Without the loss of any seniors and a great core of returning swimmers, the girls swimming team holds great promise for future seasons.
