"It'll be interesting": Student Council members head to IMSA for overnight visit

Thirteen members of Uni's student government will head to Aurora this afternoon for an overnight visit to the Illinois Math and Science Academy. The trip is the second part of a student council exchange program, which began with IMSA representatives visiting Uni in February. The Uni officers will spend a day and night on the IMSA residential campus learning about the school for academically gifted students.

Uni welcomes student council visitors from IMSA

For the second year in a row Uni's student government is participating in a school exchange program, this time with the prestigious Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy in Aurora. Thirteen IMSA students arrived after school today in time to share a dinner with their Uni counterparts. They will attend class Thursday morning with their hosts.
