Election update: Class officers set for 2009-10

Tej Chajed has won a special run-off election for Class of 2010 secretary-treasurer, completing the lineup for next year's class officers. The rising seniors will be represented by Nick Zukoski as president, Chumin Gao as vice president, Chajed as secretary-treasurer, and Laura Dripps as SFAC representative. Election results: Class officers chosen for 2009-10

Subfreshmen through juniors voted Monday for next year's class officers. A run-off election will be needed determine the secretary-treasurer for the Class of 2010 (rising seniors). The choice will be between Katherine Allen and Tej Chajed. More information will be released about that special election. Check inside for the other results.

Harmon, Ly, Mestre elected Student Council executive officers for 2009-10

Voting for next year's Student Council executive officer positions took place this morning in the kitchen. Student government veterans Rachel Harmon, Linda Ly, and Maritza Mestre earned the nod. Class elections will be held April 20. Students interested in running for class office must turn in their candidate bios to executive secretary-treasurer Natsuki Nakamura by April 13.

Student Council executive election 2009-10: Meet the candidates

In preparation for Student Council's 2009-10 executive officer election on Monday, the OG is publishing the bios of all the candidates. The election will take place until lunch in the kitchen. Voting is open to all current subfreshman through juniors. Please note that all bios are published just as they were sent in to executive secretary-treasurer Natsuki Nakamura, with no editing.
