Photo Essay: “Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home"

Last year, the Class of 2011 transformed the student lounge into a tropical retreat, complete with a pool in the midst of it all. This year, the current seniors took it one step further. The entire first floor hallway was morphed overnight into a re-creation from the world of Harry Potter.
Signs and banners hung from the ceilings, welcoming students into their transformed school, while objects that are associated with the Wizarding World in J.K. Rowling's books, such as brooms and the Mirror of Erised, adorned the walls. With the senior class's hard work, J.K. Rowling's statement rings true for Uni fans of Harry Potter:
“Whether you come back by page or by the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home.”
2012 Senior Surprise
A banner hangs in the senior alcove to welcome students to "Hogwarts" for the day.
Trophies are displayed to honor outstanding Quidditch players, while a Nimbus 2000 broom hovers above.
Floating candles decorate the ceilings.
Be careful - you never know when the stairs are going to move!
Fifth-year students could visit Professor Lisa Micele for O.W.L room assignments...
...Or they could pay a visit to the Headmaster's office!
Dolores Umbridge posted her notorious decrees throughout the hallways.
Fifth year Gryffindors could spend their free time in the Gryffindor Common Room (formerly the student lounge).
But first, they had to gain permission to enter from the Fat Lady, guard of the Gryffindor Tower.
Students could sneak out of their common rooms to take a peek at the Mirror of Erised, to see what their heart desires most.
At the end of the day, students were glad they could spend a day in "Hogwarts".
