Uni High's third annual Cultural Fair is just a few days away. The Oct. 3 event promises to be spectacular, but organizers need your help to make it as good as it can be. To do our part, the Online Gargoyle is hosting a "Countdown to Cultural Fair '08," a daily update by the event's organizers. They'll let you know what they need, how things are going, and what you can look forward to. Our Tuesday update comes from one of the parent organizers, Jennifer Hamer, associate professor and interim head, Department of African American Studies, University of Illinois.

URBANA — The countdown to the third annual Cultural Fair continues but there are a few more items that we need:

1. We would like to borrow your large cooler if you have it to spare on Friday morning.

2. We could use some ice for the coolers that we would like borrow, to keep food refrigerated until fair time.

If you can provide either or both, please let us know! Here's your chance if you can't cook but want to contribute!
