Welcome, Guest!

Becoming a zombie: "Night of the Living Dead" rehearsals

The annual Uni fall play is going on this Friday and Saturday night. New fine arts teacher Chris Guyotte is directing his first show, a live interpretation of the classic horror film "Night of the Living Dead."

The unorthodox play choice is accompanied by an unorthodox form of casting extras. Anyone who wants to be a zombie extra for the play can show up at 6:30 p.m. (wearing all black and white) and be made into a zombie by the cast.

"This production will be very different than any Uni production has ever been," said senior Marie Lilly, who plays Helen, the wife of lead character Harry Cooper.

Many rehearsals, like the one pictured above, have yielded a distinct Uni production. Live human flesh, beware. The zombies are on the loose.
