Cléante and his sister, Elise (junior Stefanie Senior), spend much of the play trying to manipulate their father into letting them marry whom they want. "The Miser" opens 7 p.m. Thursday in the North Attic Playhouse, followed by 7:30 shows Friday and Saturday.
