Wynee Bao and John Vaughen slow-dance during Howdy Hop, a free dance held traditionally after the first week of school. Sponsored by Student Council, this year’s Howdy Hop was held in the North Attic on Friday, Aug. 21, from 8 to 11 p.m. With DJ Laura Dripps leading the way, the beats were relentless. Well over 100 students and their guests attended the event. By the end of the night, StudCo executive officers Rachel Harmon, Linda Ly, and Maritza Mestre could look back on a great start to 2009-10.
