Joining Shapley in receiving flowers and glowing praise from teammates and coach Phil Anders were Annie Machesky and Rachel Skoza. The Illineks are now 9-3-2 overall and will play three more regular-season games, all on the road, before they begin the Class 1A playoffs on May 16. Uni is the No. 1 seed in the Monticello regional.
