Season's End

Senior goalkeeper Isaac Radnitzer leads his teammates off the field after Monday's rain-soaked 3-2 loss to Teutopolis in the Class A Monticello sectional championship game. After falling behind 3-0, the Illineks staged an inspired comeback attempt in the final 17 minutes but couldn't connect on the tying goal. Uni finished the season 13-9-1 and missed the IHSA state tournament by one game for the second straight year.
