Junior Emma Hoyer anticipates a basket in the girls basketball Regional Championship game against Armstrong-Potomac. The night was important for both Hoyer and the girls team. Hoyer scored her 1000th point, becoming only the seventh Uni girl to ever achieve that milestone. The girls team won the game 49-44 to become the second girls team to be regional champions. The last team that won the Regional game was the 1986 team. Their next game is against St. Anne on Monday night at 8:10 at the Colfax Ridgeview Sectional.
