Freshman violinist Annie Rong leads the members of the Uni orchestra in tuning up before Tuesday night's winter concert at Uni Gym. Conducted by fine arts executive teacher Rick Murphy, the orchestra performed pieces by Alfred Reed, A.L. Webber, Igor Stravinsky, and Leonard Bernstein, including highlights from "West Side Story," this year's spring musical, which will be performed April 2-4 in the North Attic Playhouse. Rong was concert mistress. The Uni chorus performed works by Handel, Allen Pote, Morten Lauridsen, Johan Roman, and others, with senior Daniel Borup serving as student conductor and junior Daniel Cheng providing accompaniment on piano.
