URBANA — Uni's 2010 prom, Old Hollywood, was held Saturday from 8:30 to 11:45 p.m. at the Alice Campbell Alumni Center.

More than 100 juniors and seniors and their dates stepped out onto the red carpet and received the star treatment.

As opposed to last year's preliminary vote nominating contenders prom royalty, an overall vote was held at prom to select the prince, princess, king, and queen.

Juniors Albert Anastasio and Amanda Hwu were elected prince and princess. Seniors Tej Chajed and Lisa Boyce were named king and queen.

This was the third year invitations were administered online. Junior Adam Joseph followed the system Isaac Chambers ('09) set up two years ago.

Musical entertainment was handled by Complete Music, and the event was photographed by Memory Lane Photography. Classic Events provided the catering.

After leaving the Alice Campbell Center, students made their way to the PFO-sponsored post-prom, held from midnight to 4 a.m. at the Illini Union.

The event included pool, bowling, Dance Dance Revolution, video games, movies, and more. Post-prom breakfast was held at senior Erika Belmont's house for the third time in four years.
