Audio slideshow: A cultural explosion

THIS YEAR'S UNI High Cultural Fair, held Oct. 12, was an explosion of food, dancing, and, of course, culture. After a successful debut last May, the all-school event returned to help the Uni community learn about cultures outside of their own.

The fair was created last year in a response to a series of comments to a Gargoyle editorial on diversity at Uni. Since then, it has grown into a full-fledged celebration of culture, including cultures such as Algonquiun, Thai, and vegetarian.

Reporters Anna Gooler and Katherine Allen documented the fair with photos and recordings. For more about this year's fair, check out at their audio slideshow, featuring interviews with a variety of people from the Uni community.
