Welcome, Guest!

A sonnet for you

If you know me at all, you know I don't like talking much about things I don't care about. So I wrote a sonnet just for you!

"These Are My Beliefs"

Because of all the troubles, strife, and doubt
Such influence confuses many youths
We might just be much better off without
The thing that makes me stand atop the roof
And fill my lungs to bursting point with air
My head thrown back to face the open sky
That makes me shout aloud why should I care?
The thought that this many all turn out a lie
Would crumble what we've built to teach, explain
Our universe, and things we can't admit
We lack knowledge we know we can't obtain
I think its cause is largely now in vain
Seclusion, ego, selfishness and pride
We need to see we're all the same inside.
