This year, a new game has taken over every moment of my free time. The game is called League of Legends, abbreviated LoL. For nigh on two months, I have been losing tremendous amounts of sleep, zoning into League of Legends for hours on end, sometimes sleeping at 5 a.m. during Thanksgiving break.

If given the opportunity, would you jump at the chance to be able to create food without making or paying for it? Well, I certainly do. Do you know which organisms are able to do this incredible feat everyday? Green plants. And this is why ever since I have taken biology, I have always wanted to be a green plant.

Since we had no school this past Friday, my mother and I decided to join one of her friends in volunteering our time. We spent two and a half hours at the New Covenant Fellowship of Champaign, Illinois helping out in their daily (Monday to Friday) soup kitchen. From 10 a.m.

This past Friday, I woke up feeling no different than every other normal day. Why was I feeling happier waking up? It's obviously wasn't because of the weather. It had been a dank, gloomy week temperature-wise. The main reason was something different; it was my birthday!

I first went to Golden Harbor after I came back from China last summer. I used to go to this restaurant all of the time when they were located where Mandarin Wok is now.
