The Armory: The beginning of the end

Wednesday's Armory meet marks the first meet of my final track season at Uni. Although it's kind of an unofficial meet— no uniforms, no places, no scoring, and lighter competition— it's a meet nonetheless.

11 a.m. — Itzhak Perlman, Yo-Yo Ma, Gabriela Montero, Anthony McGill play ensemble. Very classy. The audience is silent.

Big numbers likely for Obama come Election Day

I'm more than willing to acknowledge that tracking polls have flaws and may not be accurate. For example, tracking polls use historical election data to simulate the electorate, but this election is anything but similar to previous elections.

On Election Day, we may find the polling data blown out of the water by record voter turnout, especially in certain age groups and demographics.

The beginning of summer break is fast approaching. As you may notice, there is a spectacularly magnificent countdown (on the homepage of the Gargoyle and above – for a limited time only) to summer break — more specifically, a countdown to noon on Friday, May 30, the start of disorientation picnic.
