Blog: Quoting Uni

I'm racking my brain, thinking myself back to that third row desk in subbie science. What were those unforgettable phrases I'm now forgetting? What was it that cracked me up for days in U.S. History?

You know what I'm talking about, of course. I'm working on my senior quote section for the yearbook.

It's the project I've been waiting four years to complete. The highlights of my Uni experience, summed up in 150 words or less.

And it is driving me mad.

For example, why can't I think of anything memorable from sophomore year? And what was the classic Morris phrase that I just can't remember? Which faculty quotes should I use or should I use any Uni quotes at all?

You underclassmen may be laughing, but it isn't as easy as it appears. You try striking a balance of the profound and the hilarious, avoiding too many inside jokes, and choosing exactly which quotes represent your Uni experience. And you don't want to leave something important out!

So my dear stupid kids, it would behoove you to start a quote book now, before the inside of your head is as empty as a vacuum when it is time to write your senior quote section. It helps to de-constipate the process.
