Gargoyle Weekend Planner: March 11-13

This weekend is looking to be a mixed bag. Movies are looking a little bit mediocre this week unfortunately. Both have serious potential of course, but I wouldn't get my hopes too high. The U of I is also hosting the Engineering Open House this weekend, so now is a great time to let your inner science geek free.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: March 4-7

It's a long weekend ahead, so what are you going to do? Luckily, the theaters have started to find new life in releases this week, so it's doubtful that you'll be at a loss for film.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Feb 18-21

A three day weekend plus Agora week! Things look like they'll be pretty relaxed around Uni for a short while. Why don't you take advantage of your lack of homework and watch your peers at Poetry Out Loud regional? And why don't you try something new and compete to be Illinois' fastest drummer?

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Feb 11-13

This week is hosting another Uni Dance event, which looks to be a fun time for all. The Art is also hosting one of the worst movies of all time, which results in one of the most fun experiences you'll ever have.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Feb 04-06

This weekend looks fun, with dance benefits for United for Uganda and Come Lets Dance and a classic black and white comedy being shown at the historic Virginia Theatre.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Jan 28 - 30

This weekend has two incredible events. If you like any movie ranging from Star Wars to Saving Private Ryan then you've got to check out this unique film experience. Also, if you haven't had time to make it to an Illineks basketball game, then now's your last chance to join in.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Jan 21 - 23

This weekend is full of great local events. The art is holding a new festival for documentaries, the Virginia Theater is reopening, and the Uni High Illineks are ready to take on Judah Christian.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Jan 14 - 17

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Jan 7 - 9

Not too many events since the college students are still on vacation, but the OG still has plenty of movie recommendations to tide you over.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Dec 10 - 12

Final weekend is here. Although it may seem bleak, there is a light at the end of the tunnel. But really, it probably would be wiser to study up than to be distracted by late night movies. If you do feel reckless, have we got the movie for you.

Gargoyle Weekend Planner: Dec 3 - 5

Second quarter is coming to a close, and we could all use a break before finals descend. This weekend we've got a great planner for you! Studprod, the Nutcracker, and Buried look to make this weekend a memorable one.
