William Shakespeare

  • Director: Barbara Ridenour
  • What: 2008 Spring Play
  • When: April 3, 4, 5
  • Where: North Attic Playhouse
  • Poster design: Anna Cangellaris

UNI’S SPRING PLAY, William Shakespeare's classic comedy “Much Ado About Nothing,” was performed in the North Attic Playhouse from April 3 to 5.

Although the Shakespearean language was challenging, Uni’s actors and actresses managed to put together a spectacular show under the direction of fine arts teacher Barbara Ridenour.

In looking back at the production, senior Michelle Gao said in her final spring play diary entry:

“I was amazed at how many people stepped up to the challenge — as scenes unfolded before my eyes, I was caught up in them. Shakespeare is difficult to speak, never mind convey with emotion. A feeling of intense pride in our cast grew inside my chest, and made it hard to breathe (er … harder, since I was already laced into a corset).”

Michelle and fellow cast member Anna Cangellaris have put together this last look at the play.

Check it out, listen to it, and give the cast, crew, director, and everyone else connected with the production the props they deserve.
