Uni remains one of Newsweek's public elites

Newsweek has again named Uni a "public elite" in the magazine's annual ranking of best American public high schools. Only 16 schools earned that distinction this year. Public elites are those schools that did not make Newsweek's larger list of 1,500 top public high schools because their SAT or ACT scores were too high.

On their way to Greece: Students, faculty head overseas

Thirty-two students and four chaperones left today for a two-week trip to Greece organized by history teacher Chris Butler. "I've been really looking forward to it," Butler said. "About this time of year I'm really getting a little antsy to go over there. It's a spiritual kind of thing for me, so it's very sort of cleansing."
