Uni High seniors Joey Smith and Sarah Yockey have both won 2012 Good Citizen awards from the Daughters and Sons of the American Revolution [DAR/SAR]. On Friday, they were honored at a luncheon at the Champaign Country Club.

The Uni High girls basketball team defeated Armstrong-Potomac 49-44 on Thursday night. The win made the Illineks regional champions. This is the first time a Uni girls basketball team has been regional champions since 1986.
