Column: The new finals schedule is an illogical change for the worse

Last Friday, students found out, via an e-mail attachment sent from Director Jeff Walkington to Uni parents, that the schedule for the last week of the semester, finals week, had been changed. Students will now be required to show up for every class, regardless of whether or not they have an actual exam scheduled. However, Gargoyle reporter Nikita Dutta sees a plethora of issues with this new policy.

Agora Days '12: A return to its roots

Agora Days, a Uni tradition since 1977, is undergoing a few changes this year to get closer to the real purpose of the week. Under the direction of P.E. teacher Rebecca Murphy there will be a student-faculty committee that selects the classes, seeking to make them more educational and still interesting to students.

"War Dance": United for Uganda hosting movie night

United for Uganda will be hosting a movie night Friday, Nov. 11 from 6:30-9 p.m. The movie will be accompanied by dinner. All proceeds go to Come Let's Dance.

Uni's Phil Anders named News-Gazette's Boys Soccer Coach of the Year
