ExploraVision '11: Five Uni Teams win Honorable Mention

Every year, Uni students participate in the ExploraVision international science and technology contest held by the Toshiba Corporation and the National Teacher's Association. This year was the contest's 19th year, and for the third consecutive year, five Uni teams have received Honorable Mention.

Senior Trip '11 preview: Ready to dwell in the dells

The Class of 2011 is enthusiastic about their future colleges but not so much about their current school. Sluggishness and ennui are visible symptoms of senioritis's rampage through the class. Luckily, the senior trip is happening this weekend to give the class a much needed jolt.

Poetry Out Loud '11: Kahlilah Cooke advancing to state

Senior Kahlilah Cooke will be advancing to state in the annual Poetry Out Loud competition in Springfield on March 11 after winning regionals. She will recite "The Empty Dance Shoes," by Cornelius Eady, "To the Virgins, to Make Much of Time," by Robert Herrick, and "The Enigma," by Anne Stevenson.
