OH HEY Y'ALL.

Recently I have been hearing some disturbing things in the hallways. There is a way of speech full of sassy inflections and internet-turned-real-life abbreviations that I have chosen to adopt in my satirical take on Uni life. While I love to see this language spread, it is getting to be too much to hear.

"Privet." Hello. "Kaktipojuvayish?" How are you? These are the first words I learned in Russian.

Uni prides itself on having a diverse ethnic community, so why shouldn't the students take advantage of it. Little by little, I got interested in learning Russian since two of my friends are native speakers of the language.

Another Roving Reporter wandered the halls of Uni to find two students from each grade and two faculty members, and asked the same question: What is your favorite place to eat on campus, and why? Many restaurants were repeated by multiple people.

Girls basketball: Blue eclipses 1,000 point milestone

On Saturday, January 22, another name went down in Uni history. In a conference game against Judah Christian, junior Jamie Blue scored her 1,000 career point. She is the sixth female in Uni history to accomplish this goal. Look inside for the video and details of Blue's milestone achievement.

Uni for Uganda preview: Come Let's Dance and Watch a Movie

Coming soon to room 109, a special screening of Mzungu, a movie about the work of Come Let's Dance in Uganda. There will also be dinner, speakers, and a post-event dance to round out the evening. Check inside for more details.
