Audio Slideshow: A Look at the Uni High-Habitat for Humanity Connection

For over 15 years Uni students have gone down with Dr. Bill Sutton and built homes in the Mississippi Delta during Agora Days. With a newly founded Habitat for Humanity club and a fund raising goal for the year of $48,000, the group seems to be as strong as ever. The Online Gargoyle has put together a small documentary encapsulating Habitat for Humanity at Uni High.

Habitat for Humanity club gingerbread house contest: Winner announced

Uni High's Habitat for Humanity Club sponsored a gingerbread house contest that awarded a $50 cash prize to the winner. All students were welcome to enter and work either alone or in groups. Entries were brought to Uni and delivered to the kitchen at lunchtime on Monday, December 13th. Read more to find out the winner and other details.

Cheers & Jeers: End-of-fall-semester '10 edition

The first half of the year is finally coming to a close, but Uni life is not slowing down. Finals are coming up. College apps are going out and college results are coming in. Fed Up With Sequels and Remakes

It seems to happen every time I check out the list of upcoming movies: I get excited for what fresh new ideas could be ahead, but see nothing new. Sequels and remakes have become the golden standard, and it seems like the movie industry is becoming more and more saturated with them as time goes by.

Chocolate!

To me, chocolate is the essential gift. When I get chocolate from someone, I don't think of it as unoriginal. I am grateful that I have such thoughtful friends who know I really like chocolate!

A campus classic: Ed Brubaker and the Cookie Jar

The Cookie Jar has been a favorite campus haunt since its founding in 1980. Santa's Anonymous book drive held at Uni
