Boys basketball: Illineks lose second in a row despite Lilly's game-high 24 points

Early foul trouble and cold shooting from the Illineks proved too difficult to overcome as Uni fell Tuesday for the second game in a row. Senior Dan Lilly led all scorers with 24 points while also recording three rebounds, three assists, and four steals in the road loss to Arthur Okaw Christian. In JV action, Uni defeated AOC 30-28.

Girls basketball: Illineks fall short in rematch against Shiloh

Homework! Oh, homework!

    Homework! Oh, Homework!
    I hate you! You stink!
I wish I could wash you
    away in the sink,
    if only a bomb
    would explode you to bits.
    Homework! Oh, homework!
    You're giving me fits.

    I'd rather take baths
    with a man-eating shark,
    or wrestle a lion
    alone in the dark,
    eat spinach and liver,
    pet ten porcupines,
    than tackle the homework,
    my teacher assigns.

    Homework! Oh, homework!

StudProd Diary '09: Farewell, my love!

I think it is a good time to reflect on my four years participating in your marvelous show." Uni's annual showcase of student plays will be held 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the North Attic.
