SEASON SUMMARY: Despite the small size of their team, the girls had a successful season. With only four varsity memeber, the team was unable to officially compete at the Chrisman Cowchip Classic, but each runner finished in the top ten of her flight. Led by strong performances from Junior Elizabeth Russell and Senior Elaine Gu, the team grabbed fifth at the regional, qualifying for sectionals. Despite not making the cut for state, each team member improved on their personal bests, led again by sub-20 minute races from Russell and Gu who placed in the top 30 from a field and 146 runners.
