Uni established a girls athletic program during the 1970s. Female athletes have represented Uni High in basketball, baseball, cross country, soccer, swimming, tennis and track.

Currently, Uni is a member of the East Central Illinois Conference and offers the following sports: basketball, cross country, volleyball, swimming, soccer and track. Only Uni's volleyball, basketball and soccer teams compete for ECIC titles.
