SEASON PREVIEW: With the departure of key seniors all around the field, including the entire back line, the 2009 illineks look to show that Uni High soccer simply reloads instead of rebuilds. The young team will look to the 2008 area leader in goals, Dan Lilly, as well as fellow senior Neil Pearson, both 2009 preseason Nifty Fifty players, to anchor the offense and defense respectively. They will get plenty of help from returning varsity members Eddie Diazmunoz, Conrad Scholer, Brandon Lin, and Chris Mathy, as they look to improve on last season and make a deep postseason run.
