Since its opening in 1921, Uni has offered a variety of sports programs to its male students. Athletes have represented Uni High in basketball, baseball, cross country, soccer, swimming, tennis, track and even football.

Currently, Uni is a member of the East Central Illinois Conference and offers the following sports: basketball, cross country, soccer and track. Only Uni's basketball and soccer teams compete for ECIC titles.
