Masterpiece Recreation
| As part of their acrylic painting unit, students in Art 2 choose a work of art to study. The goal of this exercise is analyze the palette, brushwork, and opacity/translucency of a favorite artist, and to experiment with the artist's techniques. Students gain an understanding of how paintings are built and layered as well as how to mix apply color. |
