Meet Information

Unlike most cross country meets where races are divided into a varsity race and an open race, the Chrisman Cowchip Classic has flighted races where the number seven runner from each team compete against each other, then the number six runners compete, and so on.

Girls Results

After finishing in second place behind Mahomet-Seymour last year, the Uni High girls squad did not have enough runners to qualify for a team placing. Nevertheless, all four of the varsity runners placed within the top ten spots of their flights.

Boys Results

Even without top runner Malcolm Taylor, who did not participate in the meet due to illness, the Uni High boys varsity squad placed third in the team standings. With strong improvements from the opening meet, the Kickapoo Kickoff Classic, Uni's 2-6 varsity runners had a 23-second split. The Illineks are at home on Tuesday in the Twin City Championship.
