A grant in no way scant: Inventors Club awarded prestigious InvenTeams funding

The Uni High Inventors Club today was one of just 15 teams nationwide to be chosen for the 2009-10 MIT-Lemelson InvenTeams initiative. The club won a grant of more than $7,000 to develop a device that will reuse waste from shrimp farms and thereby prevent the destruction of coral reefs.

Uni team wins ExploraVision contest, earns $40,000 in savings bonds

ExploraVision team members Isaac Chambers, Tej Chajed, Daniel Cheng, and Danny Ge won first place in the international science competition. Each team member will receive a U.S. Savings Bond worth $10,000 at maturity. The students found out the good news today.
