But reading my morning toast is beyond my wildest imaginings. The "Scan Toaster" connects to a PC via a USB connector. You can (theoretically) download news, the daily racing sheet, the weather report, or whatever you can fit onto a piece of toast. This lovely toy is an entry in the 2008 Electrolux Design Lab competition. Click on the image for the scoop on how this gizmo actually works.
