Another in the same (pseudo)genre that I liked a great deal was called "The Beaver Papers"; it was a series of literary pastiches written by famous literary figures due to the fact that when it was announced that Leave it to Beaver was going off the air, the entire literary community, both living and dead, banded together to write scripts to save it. Some were a bit risqué (imagine D.H. Lawrence writing for television) but the overall quality was very good.

Amazingly enough, the Undergraduate Library has this book. The Beaver Papers: The Story of the "Lost Season" by Will Jacobs and Gerard Jones, published in 1983. It's sitting on the shelf, 791.4572 L487J, just waiting to be requested!
