Sixty seniors, 30 colleges. That's how it breaks down for Uni's Class of 2006.
Nineteen seniors plan to attend the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Northwestern University and Washington University in St. Louis are the next most popular choices, with three seniors each heading their way.
Eight colleges got the nod from two seniors apiece: Amherst, Brandeis, Chicago, Grinnell, Johns Hopkins, Michigan, St. Olaf, and Stanford.
Nineteen schools will greet a single member of the senior class: Beloit, Boston U, Brown, Bryn Mawr, Cornell, Georgetown, North Central, Notre Dame, Oberlin, Ohio State, Purdue, Rochester Institute of Technology, Scripps, Smith, UC-Berkeley, Valparaiso, Westminster Choir College, Wisconsin-Madison, and Yale.
Eight seniors will take a year off before beginning their undergraduate careers.
So, with those preliminaries out the way, here are the college destinations and intended majors of Uni's senior class, as compiled by counselor Lisa Micele, secretary Ellen Lindsey, and the rest of the Student Services staff. Be sure to check out the college map across the hall from the SSO as well.
